Contributing to the WWR website
There are always pages here at the WWR website that need to be "fleshed out". There are also a lot of pages that are simply missing. This website is simply the sum of the contributions of Wheatheads like you. So dive in!
Donating money
Let's make one thing clear up front: you are not required to donate money to Whole Wheat Radio. People help out in many other ways too. If you're strapped for cash but want to donate, just helping improve the site by editing or creating new pages is appreciated just as much (sometimes more) than cash. And sending goodies in the mail like so many people do is also greatly appreciated.
It's a fact, though, that running WWR costs money. For example, WWR has to pay for DSL bandwidth and internet streaming service in order to get the music stream to your computer. It also has to pay a website hosting fee for this site. So, if you choose to donate, your contribution will be greatly appreciated.
There are several ways to make a financial contribution:
- Buy music! Like a song you hear on WWR? The listener console usually has links to CD Baby! for the currently playing song. Click on the link, buy the CD, and WWR will get a small fee from the vendor for sending your sale their way. (Please note, though, that WWR encourages you to buy music directly from your favorite independent musicians' websites. We know that the musicians need your support more than we do).
- Make a Paypal direct donation. You can make either a one-time donation or a recurring monthly donation in a variety of denominations by just clicking on the appropriate image below. You will be asked to confirm the amount you wish to donate after you click the image. You can cancel your subscription at any time via Paypal. All credit card information is handled by Paypal so it's safe and secure. Please know that your contribution really helps and is sincerely appreciated!

Please note that, although WWR is a "labor of love", it is not a tax-exempt organization. Please don't try to deduct your WWR contribution on your tax return. We don't want you to get into trouble.

We put all those checks in the WWR account - I promise. The reason it's made out to Jim Kloss is because the WWR bank account is a personal account (completely separate from my personal banking accounts) and not a business account. We'd have to jump through all sorts of hoops to make it a business account - hoops that are expensive and not really necessary at this time.
