your phonegram complaining about what you call an "ad" which is nothing more than a helpful reminder about one of the core missions of this website

Please recognize that Whole Wheat Radio is not for everyone. Please read our mission statement so you understand what this site and collaborative wiki are about. You should also familiarize yourself with our basic rules.

Complaints such as yours indicate that you are unhappy about a core foundation of this website, webcast and community. In our 5+ year history we've heard complaints such as yours over and over again. Unfortunately, they are not constructive criticism and merely disrupt the smooth functioning of the community and create discord.

For that reason, your complaining behavior is to cease immediately on this website or you may be denied access to Whole Wheat Radio permanently.

This is not a debatable issue. Attempts to debate the merits of this policy after being in violation of it can result in immediate and permanent denial of access to WWR.

Do not remove this warning from your talk page. It will be removed after you have demonstrated that you understand what is being asked of you and that you will no longer complain about that aspect of Whole Wheat Radio while on this site.

Why

Whole Wheat Radio is not an average website nor does it try to be. We are a collaborative wiki of mostly like-minded people who demand more of our internet experience than ads, fake "friends" and hype. In return for getting that experience, we all kick in to contribute to make Whole Wheat Radio what it is. People who chronically or needlessly complain without bothering to educate themselves about our mission or the community bring us all down.

We feel no obligation whatsoever to be all things to all people. We've turned off and turned away more folks for various reasons than many websites have ever attracted. It's not that we try to be difficult - but we do have standards and expectations that far exceed most websites you'll ever visit. If you feel those expectations are unfair, please do yourself and us a favor - just leave the website. There are hundreds of thousands of other websites that you will find more to your liking.

This warning has not been posted frivolously. Your have either complained before or have a habit of bringing others down with your insults or questioning of the WWR mission. If you are truly confused and feel this warning is unfair you may respond on your talk page. But any response which is just another complaint about the way things are done here may result in your being denied access to this website - so choose your wording and points carefully.
