Hi. Rez Dog here, more or less. Mostly less so far. I'll try to think of something clever to include here.
Significant milestones in somewhat chronological order:
Born. Baptized Catholic by a Jewish pediatrician
Survived eight years of Catholic school. Religion didn't take.
Managed to go through college in the 60's without ever smoking marijuana.
Survived a year as an infantryman and later, company clerk, in Vietnam where I made up all the marijuana I missed in college.
Worked as an analyst and performance auditor in Virginia, Arizona and the Navajo Nation.
Met my partner, Shopvacmaggie.
Hiked all over the Grand Canyon, Arizona, New Mexico and Utah.
Should have been killed by a fall in Zion National Park. Very, very lucky.
Thru-hiked the Appalachian Trail in 2002. Covered the the 200 missing miles and retraced another 200 in 2005.
