Trivia, story behind the song, etc.
Stephen Bennett
solo harp guitar, made my Jim and Dave Merrill, tuned (low to high) E-A-B-C-D-G E-A-D-G-B-E.
This tune sprang into being (nearly literally) while reading David Stannard's book, American Holocaust. Specifically, after absorbing the chapter devoted to the brutal Spanish destruction of the great Mayan city of Tenochtitlan in the early 1500s.
Lyrics
Instumental piece.
