Trivia, story behind the song, etc.
Song was written while driving south from Fairbanks with my best friend. We were listening to Lucinda Williams and the song consists of things she said at random times during the trip.
Lyrics
She said that song about Jackson was the saddest she's ever heard And she's never seen these rivers run so low She said she thought she was all done, losing things But sometimes she still wonders where they go Lucinda, why'd you sing that song so sad How could someone miss someone so bad She said that song about Jackson always makes her cry We need some rain to keep these fires down She said what matters now won't mean nothing at all When we're six feet underground She said that song about Jackson brings tears to her eyes The sun sure is hot this time of year She said don't work so hard trying to forget When you know it's so much easier to forgive (written by J. Siniscalchi 2007)
