Mp3PRO

Radoslav Lorkovic is not sure if his player has MP3Pro capabilities or not
mp3PRO is a proprietary method of encoding audio that attempts to restore some of the high-end treble lost in standard MP3 encoding. The WWR webcast is encoded in mp3PRO format. Players that don't support MP3Pro play the stream but it doesn't sound nearly as good as an mp3PRO capable player.
Winamp supports mp3PRO with a free plugin. Jetaudio and Audion play mp3PRO quality automatically.
There is now an MP3PRO plugin for XMMS under Linux - see the XMMS page.
If you intend to listen to WWR on a regular basis, having an mp3PRO enabled player is highly recommended.
