Janet Metzner brings a whole different sound to her music. She plays and sings every song with every part of her heart and soul. The minute you meet Janet you can't help get caught up in her high energy, her radiant smile and positive attitude. She always takes the time to sit and and talk with everyone that comes to her shows. Janet is real and that is what makes her so approachable. Her soulful, rich, powerful voice captivates you to the very end of the song. Janet donates a lot of her CD sales and performances to fundraisers and charity events. She truly has a gift and loves to share it with the world. I live in Alaska. I have 3 children and am a carpenter by trade. I have been singing since I can remember. I used to sing on the coffee table with the show, HEE-HAW, on T.V. I have been doing shows for about 11 years now, mostly just locally. My music comes from my life. I don't do well writing about something I haven't felt or experienced. I always try to share a time or an event in my life in hopes that it might be just what someone listening needs to hear.To be able to touch and posiibly help heal or just get a laugh or just someone up dancing is what brings me my greatest joy in my music.
