Artists:Billy Moon

Billy Moon formed in 1995 out of the desire of its members to hang out and play music. The four members of Billy Moon soon went from good friends to family and out of this warmth and respect made a lot of amazing music. Billy Moon was together for over a decade, a record for an unsigned band.

Billy Moon went on and off the radar screen of the Seattle music scene over the years. At one time they were signed to an Indie label (Samson Records) who flamed out on them just before release of the CD, Storm Before The Calm. They often opened for major acts playing in and around Seattle. The music was enough for them for many years, but the money never came and hope of a big break waned. Finally, just this year, they made the decision to let Billy Moon go.

Alan is enjoying some free time and continues to make music with various friends, local musicians and his wife, Anne. Kristy and Steve still run the Seattle Drum School and have recently opened a performance space there called The L.A.B. Both Steve and Kristy continue to make music separately and together.

The band wants to take this opportunity to thank all the people who supported us, and believed in us for all those years. Thank you for coming to shows and for buying CD's and for loving (or at least liking) us..
