Annalisa started playing violin at the ripe old age of three, under the careful instruction of her mother. Her musicality grew in her early high school years, after years of music lessons and attending camps, maturing into a fine singer/songwriter. She released her first solo album her senior year, and her sophomore album three years later. Known for her sultry voice and touching lyrics, she had made a name for herself in the folk and bluegrass world.
Annalisa's songwriting will leave you holding your breath and has been described as "delicious" "fresh and original". She has the incredible vocal ability to be soft and breathy, sultry and bluesy at the same time.
As lead singer and principle songwriter of the nationally touring band Bearfoot, Annalisa has performed at major festivals across the US, Canada, Ireland, including Rockygrass, Wintergrass, and Telluride as well as in clubs and concert halls. Annalisa's solo project gives you an intimate look into the many sides of her musical maturity. from CD Baby
